Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing.

Knowing that to artificially alter a product as natural as wine would be sin, our philosophy has always been to not intervene too much with the grapes and the ripening process. To simplify and optimize the workflow in our winery we built a brand new building in 2001, where the state of the art infrastructure and modern technologies guarantee careful processing of the grapes.

A long time ago our favorite and most loved successful wine variety the “Blaufrankisch” made “Mittelburgenland” its home showing extraordinary harmony with climate and soil. Comprising 50% of our production even today ‘Blaufrankisch’ is still our most important wine.
Since 2007, our 15 hectare vineyards are processed and controlled biologically.
Our family having a long tradition of growing high quality wines and having won numerous national and international awards also boast of other varieties like Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, St. Laurent, Chardonnay as well as old Austrian white wines.
The joy of life, with courage to reinvent oneself and move with the times has always been in close affiliation of our love for wine and nature.
